EDUCATORSAs you know, activities like the Rotary Career Symposium work best when students are participating as part of an ongoing program. This site was designed with the input of many other educators and counsellors to develop a set of useful tools and activities that will help students plan for the event, and ultimately their careers. Register for the Symposium (PDF) >>How to prepare for the Symposium:Download the 2010 Counsellor's / Teacher’s Guide Resources >>Additional resources that can be help assist students in preparing for the symposium. Activities for Students >>Activities are available for students and can be completed individually or in a classroom setting before the event. PARENTSResearch shows that parents have the most influence on their children's careers and post-secondary decisions, and we strongly encourage parental involvement. They might not ever ask you for it, but knowing you’re there and ready to support them - whether they ask you for advice or not - can give them the confidence and security they need to make the right decisions for themselves. Students who register with their school have the opportunity to bring a parent to the Symposium free of charge. Students should be well prepared when asking questions to speakers and to exhibitors. Activities are available for students on this site to help them make the most of the event. Link to activities for students Learn more about the Rotary Career Symposium
