Glide to your Future Challenge

Exciting careers abound in Aerospace, Manufacturing and Skilled Trades.

Students will compete to successfully build and fly a miniature Styrofoam glider. This exercise will introduce students to the use of essential skills, manufacturing processes, and skilled trade occupations needed in the real world of work to complete such a project.

The sponsors of this new challenge are Manitoba Aerospace, Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (CME) and Winnipeg Technical College.
