Who we are

The City of Winnipeg is committed to creating a dynamic and diverse workforce of highly skilled people working together to deliver excellent service to the community of Winnipeg. The Rotary Career Symposium is an opportunity to connect with many youth and adults in supporting this vision.

Why we are participating

The City’s goal is to share information on the programs and career opportunities the City offers and to raise awareness and interest in becoming an employee of the City of Winnipeg.

Our goal for the symposium

The City of Winnipeg will have four booths at the event. One booth will provide information on job opportunities available at the City of Winnipeg, in particular in regard to the areas of Recreation and Library Services and Transit Operators. The Property Assessment Department, the Fire Paramedic Service and the Winnipeg Police Service will each have a booth providing specific information on careers opportunities available with them.
